Action formula that never gets old? There's only so much you can do to a franchise; you can cast a new leading lady, introduce a character with conflicts and power, or hit the repeat button. Transformers answers all the above. The plot to the third installment is that of a sophisticated 8 year old. Stories developed on the go and implemented without proper thoughts. It does what a big budget film does and that is entertain. Shia LaBoeuf character is outrages and over the top with yelling and wise crack remarks to entertain the massive crowd goers. The graphics are great, SFX are top notch but than again its easier to recreate non-organic objects than real life creatures or humans. Over all its meant to be seen on the big screen- 3D/ Imax. Fast pace, visually entertaining, and easy plot with easy turns, Transformers gets a Silver Egg.

J.J. Abrams takes an element of Supernatural/ Extraterrestrial and mixes it with a valuable lesson in life - acceptance. It's hard as hell to accept the truth. Sometimes issues are the way they are and moving on without grudges and forgiving those who have crossed your path will result in a better life for you and others. The movie had rich characters that did a great job exploiting their strengths and weaknesses. There's a relationship that forms between the two conflicted families that challenges the movie. Its a relationship that appears to paralleled that of Romeo and Juliet story, the dividing line between two families and the un-forbidden love to unit two house holds. The cinematography filmed with grand proportions and really utilizing the senses by having loud scenes and hiding the element of the unknown. You're constantly wondering and waiting to see this unknown creature. The movie flows well with scenes that are slow paced where thick gooey drama brews and scenes that run wild with fast pace action that are elaborate with explosions and scenery. The movie overall hold up well with a solid story and is visually impressive. I give it a Golden Egg.

He found what he loves and he's making it happen. His character is rightfully entitled 'Direction' because someday he will be directing in a big budget movie and receiving his Oscar for best director. As 'Direction' he has the power to control living creatures and direct them to his own will. When it comes to Tekken, there's only one character I select ... Bryan Fury. Half man/ half machine ... is it fair? No - not when I'm playing. He's a bad guy, I guess. Am I, I'm in the dictionary under badass -yeah. One fault that Bryan does suffer is a major wardrobe malfunction. He has sleeve of bullets as a belt. When Namco was creating this were they thinking over the top, probably because they also have a Kangaroo and a tree stump as selectable characters. Give him a military vest/ or a bullet proof vest. Keep the army pants and boots, maybe some shades and show some metal from his cyborg body. Bryan Fury ladies and gentlemen.

GAME FIGHTER OF THE DAY - MITSURUGI

Oh yeah, the bad ass dude with the Katana sword from the Soul Caliber series. This character has received an overhaul of outfits but his sword still remains the same, along with his scurfy facial hair and his ponytail hair. One the easier character to master in the SC series, he automatically became my favorite. Can't wait to see how Namco will alter him for the next installment!

GAME FIGHTER OF THE DAY - AKUMA

Im starting this new thing where I sketch a favorite fighter from a video game. There are too many out there to draw but imma do my best. Im breaking them down and asking and making notes on what I think of their design. Lets see how long I can do this for, I really like doing this so hopefully for a while I can maintain this daily goal.
My first one is Akuma. Akuma is a great character that was design to showcase evil. His hair is wild and he wears an over the top necklace - a Buddha thing. All black outfit with a huge symbol on his back ... badass! One thing that puzzled me, is the fact that he wears strapless sandals and yet they never fall off. Either he has some strong toe muscles that can hold his sandals in place or it was a flaw in the design of his character, its ok CAPCOM. My favorite... second favorite character from the Street Fighter universe - AKUMA!

This project took me a total of 7 hours. I learn two things. Saving is crucial even if your photoshop never quits by itself, you may have to do so because the filter gallery is taking forever to respond!!!
